A test entry, I guess. For a while I'd thought about importing my old LJ over before that website one day goes under and a lot of my personal history is lost. I still may do that at some point. But in the end I decided that I wanted a fresh new journal here to begin with and not one weighed down with posts from probably two decades ago now, filled with opinions of a younger me that, while what shaped me today, might not be of interest to anyone other than myself.
Bear with me as I try to figure all of this out. It's been a while.
Mostly, I'm looking forward to having somewhere to post again that isn't micro-blogging. I've tried my best with that over the years, but I've always been too wordy for it. It's a relief to have somewhere that my waffling won't be discouraged.
